Ryan (Ricoshu)

Welcome! As the HuskieFurs President, it is my pleasure to invite you to our vibrant and inclusive community.

I come from an extensive background of journalism, videography and marketing. I have been involved in the community for a decade, with my main fursona being a dergal (dragon/sergal) named Rico! I take great pride in creating content to spread awareness about the fandom and upholding the fandom's principles of creativity, self-expression and inclusivity.

It is my dream to work professionally within the fandom, either as a convention organizer, content creator or multimedia artist!

Vice President

Justin (FlarinthK)

Heyo! I'm Justin, also known as FlarinthK online! I'm a Fine Arts major focused on Illustration, and mainly an artist in general. I've been a furry for about at least half a decade, having an Australian Shepard fursona with floopy ears named Flare.

As Vice President, I help with making HuskieFurs an informational space about the furry fandom, but also with my background in art, I help with making this space artistic and creative to explore identity and different ways of self-expression.

Hello, I'm Gus, Secretary for the NIU Furs. I am currently working on my Human resource management degree and also a minor in psychology. I am relatively new to the furry fandom, only getting my sona a little over a year ago now. I look forward to meeting more people who are furries and being able to have fun with others in the club!

Sup, I'm Calvin, but online I mainly go under the handle K9Korvid. I'm a Pre-Med Undergrad, hobby digital artist, and avid video game/ttrpg enjoyer. I've been in the furry community for around 6 or so years, my fursona being a edgy little wolfdog named Greyson. I might not post much of my art publicly, but I'm happy to be the social media manager for Huskiefurs!

Hello! I’m Brent. You can find me online as GenericUserBMR. I’m a meteorology student. My sona is an Ender Dragon named Millend! I’m the event coordinator. I’ve been in the furry fandom since roughly 2017, but only in the background. It wasn’t until finding this club did I really engage with the fandom beyond watching videos and enjoying art. I hope to bring creative and fun events to HuskiesFurs!

Hello! I’m Randy, the faculty advisor for NIU Furs. While I’m new to the world of the furry fandom, I’m honored to support this creative and welcoming community at Northern Illinois University. I especially enjoy seeing students design fursonas, create original artwork, build fursuits, and organize events that bring people and fellow Huskies together. NIU Furs reflects inclusivity, creativity, and community, and I’m proud to support a space where students can explore self-expression and connection.
